About me

Hello I am Anthony Burrows. I grew up in the mountains of Southern California. Living in the beauty of nature, I was always barefoot growing up getting my feet dirty. As I started my career with the Forest Service as a wildland firefighter, I spent twenty years wearing logging boots as my day to day footwear. These boots where the old school standard for the wild land fire service. I moved out of the field to a desk job where I stopped wearing logging boots as my day to day footwear. I noticed my feet and all the aches and pains I had become accustomed to throughout my body started to become less painful. However, I still had pain while working in our shop or doing physical activities. I thought to myself it was a lifetime of being an avid outdoors enthusiast and a career of beating up my body.

I knew that my footwear had a part in why my body was hurting so bad. One day, I was looking on Pinterest and I found barefoot shoes. I had no idea there was a shoe of this kind. I started looking into barefoot footwear and I decided I should give these kinds of shoes a try after many failed attempts with other footwear.

I received my first pair a week before I had to do my work capacity test. This test is a three mile fast walk with forty-five pounds on my back and must be completed in forty-five minutes or less. Needless to say its hurts your feet and body. I did the test in my new barefoot footwear and this was the first time in twenty-two years I felt the best during and after the test. Two years later, I have stepped up my game with the barefoot movement.

I have serval different brands I wear and love. My goal is to get as many people hooked on barefoot footwear as I can. This style of footwear is a life changer. So please, look at my website and if any of the information I have provided resinates with you, please get a pair of life changing barefoot shoes through my affiliate links.
